Steve Shermett

Steve Shermett is an American film actor, television host, producer, and casting director. Known for his recurring role in the award-winning series "The Chosen" and his appearance with Ted Danson and Holly Hunter in NBC's "Mr. Mayor." Steve is one of the leads in the western "The Righteous Twelve" and a supporting role on Netflix in "Fronteras." He has also hosted over 100 television episodes for Prime Time Christian Broadcasting.

Steve began his acting career in High School in a fantastic drama department led by director, Terrance Gunkel. He quickly moved to local community theatre and shortly landed his first role in Civic Light Opera (while still in High School). Steve took a hiatus from theatre as he raised his family. He returned to his first love... ACTING... but this time to the screen. Steve has formal film, theatre, and improv training. He graduated from both the Improv 101 course at Tucson's Unscrewed Theatre and veteran filmmaker, Chuck Williams' Master Acting Course. Steve has worked with us in the past by hosting a number of Against the Tide Media interviews. He's a veteran in the industry, and there's much he can bring to the table for Anti.
